I am from South Africa, my husband is Israeli. We have been living outside of Israel for many years.
About 4 years ago we looked into how our daughters could learn to read and write Hebrew and came across something so much more than just a language school – Zehud!
Our three daughters love Zehud online school. Zehud’s expert teachers held their hands while they took their first steps learning to read and write in Hebrew. Their progress was remarkably quick, and within what seemed like no time at all their eyes had been opened to a new world. The native Hebrew-speaking teachers are very experienced with teaching Hebrew to children as a second language and that is what we felt sets Zehud apart from other language programs.
The added value for us at Zehud is the community and all the extras. Our family dinners have become extensions of the Chagim lessons with our daughters actually teaching us things about our traditions and Jewish heritage. Zehud is developing our family’s “Zehut Yehudit”! am South African, and Leandro is Argentinian-Israeli. We’ve been living in Africa for many years including Angola, Tanzania and now Zambia, with our three daughters.
